Artifact: Action Evaluation Plan
Reflection:
The Action Evaluation Plan was completed to identify an area of improvement in the school, determine goals to help improve the school in that area, implement strategies, and evaluate funding sources for these strategies. This plan works with the shared vision of the school of improving the implementation of technology within the school.
In order to complete this assignment, I had to research the policies, procedures, programs, and strategies that are being used in my school currently. I used what I found to make recommendations of how to increase technology use in our school. I saw many of the teachers using technology, but not many students. I determined where our SPLOST money was being spent in technology and how much would be available to use in the coming school year. Once I finished the research, I made recommendations based on my observations in areas that I thought could be improved. My recommendations were for the school to utilize the technology that has already been purchased in their classroom and for the faculty to create a technology plan to guide learning in the school.
This plan would then be shared with administrators in order to be implemented in the school. The implementation would include additional training on how to utilize the technology that has been purchased for each classroom. Also, a technology plan would be created by a technology committee and shared with the school. Each of the goals has success indicators and evaluation methods. There are also three strategies for each goal of how to implement as well as who would be responsible for each strategy.
